I produce modern art pieces using quilling techniques. My designs are inspired by multicoloured objects and geometrical shapes. My desire is to create contemporary artwork and enhance interior spaces.


ABOUT ME


I am a quilling and paper artist who is based in Kent, England producing hand cut unique designs. I like to create pieces using vibrant colours of the rainbow and other shades of colour to create patterns. Using geometrical shapes and multiple colours, my artwork differs from other quilling artists and each piece is created with love and a passion for perfection. 

After the initial design concept is drawn up the majority of my designs take several hours to become reality as it involves several steps such as cutting paper strips, shaping and assembling. Each design of mine is truly unique and created by hand in limited editions. Each piece comes with a signed certificate of authentication. 


From science to art. I studied marine biology and have passion for amazing marine life. While I have a day job related to biological science, I use my free time focusing on designing paper art pieces.

I started using paper to express my ideas and discovered quilling one day. I was moved by colours and designs by other artists. Then, I influence by other paper arts and started shaping my unique style. My favourite colours are purple and yellow hence brand name is Purple And Yellow Art.

I have worked on several bespoke art pieces specific to my client's requests. I have created custom pieces for interior design purposes as well as showcase for businesses. All art pieces I create are hand made. I cut my own papers strips, shape and fix them by hand. Unlike other classical quilling designs, I like building up modern, minimal and contemporary arts mostly based on geometrical shapes and patterns.

I take inspiration from nature and any kind of geometric structures.

I enjoy exploring new ideas in nature as well as man made architectural creations. I admire 3 dimensional objects and visual artwork.
